Alexandra Connell
Registered Psychologist
My work is grounded in trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming care, supporting people to explore their experiences with curiosity, compassion, and greater self-understanding.
I have experience supporting children, adolescents and adults, and have a particular passion for working with people exploring neurodivergence later in life or seeking clarity through assessment. I also work with a range of other presentations including complex trauma, anxiety, burnout, depression, parenting support, attachment difficulties, perfectionism and obsessive compulsive disorder.
Sessions are designed to be collaborative, and aim to help people develop a deeper understanding of their brain, identity, and lived experiences. I aim to create a supportive and gentle space where clients feel safe to explore challenges, build self-understanding, and find ways of moving through life that feel more sustainable and aligned.
If you’re considering therapy or seeking greater understanding through assessment, I welcome you to reach out to explore whether working together may be the right fit.
